THE WOLDINGHAM VILLAGE CLUB

Neil and Julie Tidmarsh have been the Club’s hosts since 11 November 2011. They are responsible for the day to day management of the Club, its facilities and services and that they are kept to a high standard.

 

Under their stewardship, and through their unstinting personal dedication and professionalism, the Club has moved from strength to strength.  Members and visitors to the Club alike will have witnessed a huge transformation, so much to the better, in the quality of the Club’s services and fabric.  This transformation, largely down to Julie and Neil’s efforts, has undoubtedly been a major factor in the Club’s steady recovery and return to profitability.

 

Neil and Julie have pursued professional careers in the hospitality business and accumulated a wealth of experience running and managing other venues, most notably, in Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire.  They take pride in delivering the highest standards and have received and continue to receive many commendations and awards.

As for the Woldingham Village Club, Neil is keen that the Club has an excellent bar, fully stocked with a good choice of beers, lagers, spirits, liqueurs, cocktails and wines.  Essentially, Neil believes that a well stocked and well run bar is key to happy and contented customers.

 

Julie is in charge of the provision of food for hungry Club patrons. So many return again and again to Julie's Kitchen to enjoy her wide selection of delicious, home-made meals and desserts. And, Julie's Friday Night Specials and Sunday lunches are always in demand. 

 

Between them, they have created a warm, welcoming and convivial atmosphere in the Club where all age groups can have a good time.  Whether you are seven or seventy-seven years old, Neil and  Julie will certainly make you feel at home as will their daughter, Chelsea, and son, Sam, too.

 

By the way, Neil is an experienced and keen angler and has managed to ensure that Sam is one too. He is also a ‘True Blue’ or avid supporter of the Premier League Champions, Chelsea. While he may tease those who support the many lesser accomplished football teams than the Blues, he nevertheless understands their 'unfortunate plight'.  On the other hand, Julie is a bit of a rugby fan and a passionate supporter of the Northampton Saints.  Yes, egg chasers, Neil!
