THE WOLDINGHAM VILLAGE CLUB

Whether you are a member of the Club or not, you may book the Club and its facilities for functions such a birthday parties, engagement parties, weddings, christenings and funeral receptions as well as corporate events. Venue hire rates compare well with those of other local venues. The Club will provide a full bar service, if required. You may also provide your own entertainment, music and catering although the Club would be happy to offer you catering services too. On the day of the event, you may also come along several hours in advance to arrange seating and put up your decorations as appropriate.

Following several unfortunate experiences, please note that exceptionally the Club no longer caters for 18th birthday parties.

The standard charge for Evening Hire of the Club as a venue is £200 for members and £350 for non-members and All Day Hire is £350 for members and £500 for non-members payable at the time the booking is confirmed to cover the cost of additional bar staff and associated overheads.  A 2 Hours Hire for £50 is also available for everyone. Any function all day until 7:00pm would be charged at the Evening Hire rate, as we could still let the Club in the evening. The criterion for being a 'member' is having been a Club Member for 6 months. Children will have to be properly supervised for their own and others' safety by responsible adults. You will appreciate that you are not usually allowed to bring your own drinks or alcohol for consumption in the Club.

Before you contact the Club, first check the table below for dates and times the Club is unavailable. Then, fill out the form below, giving us the proposed date and time of your event along with your details and particular requirements and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible confirming availability etc. Once your venue booking has been confirmed by us, you can then proceed to pay a deposit by sending a cheque payable to ‘Woldingham Village Trust’ to the Club or by paying in cash or by credit or debit card in the the Club itself.
